skittles

 aim to use water to extract the dye from skittles using the presses of chromatography 

materials 

1 skittles     

2 water 

3 petri dish 

4 beaker 

process 

step 1 place the skittles in the peri dish around the edges

step 2 pour 100 ml of water gently in the middle of the peri dish 

Explaine the findings 

why did the colour come out the same rate ?

Because they have sugar in them 

why did the colours did not mix together ?

because the colours did not got wobbled
